Reason you get resistance from clients…is because you’re “CLOSING” on them. “ABC” (Always Be Closing) to me always implied “ALWAY BE PUSHY.”

"Closing" connotes using high pressure tactics to get the decision. People hate to be pressure from the outside.

LEADING is the art of inspiring or influencing someone to make a decision…for their reasons, not yours. Do you want to be pushy or Irresistible? Do you like it better when someone pressures you to do something or Inspires you to do something?

Leading is helping someone make a good decision that is in their best interest that leads them to feel gratitude, not regret. If you want to get better results, stop closing and start leading.

WHY MOST NEW AGENTS FAIL:
1. Not willing to work hard enough.
From webinar comment: "This sounds more and more difficult than I thought and more work than expected!"

2. Not willing to face fear.
Greatest fear is the fear of the unknown.
So they give up way to easily.

3. Lack of effective guidance.
Try to figure it out on their own.
(looking for cheapest way...no real mentorship or coaching.
Ask other agents just as lost as they are.
And worst is they look for guidance from social media and youtube.

HOW TO GUARANTEE SUCCESS:
I got lucky…looking for #1 office and I had no Plan B.
Invest in the best coach.
Work your butt of to become the best.
Determine to succeed no matter what.
Face fear of unknown…get comfortable being uncomfortable.

People tell you "No," because the believe you're just trying to get something from them for your own benefit.
Why do they believe that? Because you're thinking about getting something for yourself. That's what's in your mind. That's WHY you're there. You're there to "get" a listing.
They don't feel safe...when you're trying to GET something from them for your benefit. BUT when you have something to offer for their benefit and that's WHY you're there and you are passionate about it...they will follow you gladly and without reservation. They'll hire you and they'll be happy to pay you.
